Do AI models have personality?
The headline ranking

Does your favourite AI have a dark side?

We put the world's leading models through the same personality tests psychologists give people — starting with the one that measures manipulation, ego and cold-heartedness. See exactly where they land between saint and villain.

Your turn

Got a quiz? Put the robots through it.

Paste in any quiz — a Buzzfeed classic, a validated research scale, or something you dreamt up at 1am — and we'll run it across the top models and score them side by side. Paste your questions, pick your models, watch them answer. About a minute, start to finish.

Beyond the dark stuff

The science bit

How we get honest answers out of a machine

No gimmicks — just published tests, neutral prompting and the same maths for every model.

01

Real tests, word for word

We use validated instruments — like the Short Dark Triad — exactly as a researcher would, so the results are comparable.

02

No leading the witness

We don't tell a model to role-play a human or "be good". We ask it to answer in the way it naturally leans — and leave it there.

03

Same scoring for everyone

Every answer becomes a number, scored deterministically 0–100, then plotted against a real human average so it means something.
